TCDC joins in loud shirt day fundraiser.

Staff at Thames-Coromandel District Council should be forgiven for any questionable dress sense this Friday.

The organisation is joining in Loud Shirt Day - an annual appeal for deaf and hearing impaired children – and staff are being encouraged to wear a loud shirt in exchange for a fundraising donation.

Loud Shirt Day raises money for The Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Paediatric Programme which are two charities working with deaf and hearing impaired children who have
a cochlear implant or hearing aid to enable them to listen and speak.

On Loud Shirt Day, you and your colleagues throw away your usual dress rules, step out in your
loudest, brightest shirts and donate to deaf and hearing impaired New Zealand children.

Last year over 500 organisations took part in Loud Shirt Day and raised over $70,000 for
The Hearing House and SCIPP. TCDC is hoping to help them go higher, louder and brighter
this year to help even more deaf and hearing impaired children.

It is not too late for schools, companies and clubs to register at www.loudshirtday.co.nz  and join the fun! For further information you can visit www.loudshirtday.co.nz  or email loudshirtday@hearinghouse.co.nz
