October 1 Deadline For Voting Papers

Voting papers for the upcoming election to the Dannevirke Community Board were posted last week and should now have been received by eligible residents.

As the papers are being processed in Christchurch and not locally voters should use the postal envelopes supplied to ensure safe and accurate delivery, electoral officer Mike Brown advises.

The deadline for voting is midday on October 1.

Three candidates are standing for the Dannevirke Community Board vacancy.

They are Judith Brenan, Ross Macdonald and Steven Munday.
