In the end it wasn't even a race.

Chris Forne and Joe Jagusch won the annual Heights of Winter Rogaine by a massive 400 points, or the equivalent of 3 hours. Second place was an all womens team of Jenni Adams, Rachel Smith and Sia Svendson.

Forne commented that the freezing weather made the course hardwork and he was surprised at the margin of victory "heaps of teams were travelling the same speed as us".

Other top athletes in the field were runners Jacob Robert and Martin Lukes and multisporters Ross Rotherham and Heath de Garnham
