Once again Taupo Baptist Church is holding a “Light Party” on the evening of Halloween, Friday 31 October. The event runs from 6 to 8pm and caters for primary school age children.
The “Light Party” is a fun, positive and safe alternative to the traditional Halloween practice of dressing up in spooky costumes and going out on the streets “trick or treating”.
The church buildings are set up like a carnival for the event, plenty of games are organised, food is provided, and a party can be enjoyed with up to 250 other children.
The theme for the party is Pirates or Princesses, and children are encouraged to dress to that theme.
Parents are welcome to attend - a parent café is provided.
Tickets cost $5 and are available from the Taupo Baptist Church office, weekday mornings.
