Two weeks to Boobs on Bikes Wellington

The world famous Boobs on Bikes parade is due to hit the streets of Wellington for the very first time at about midday on Friday 7 th November 2008, the day before the General Election (Helen’s decision, not ours).

Anyone with even the slightest interest in local news will be aware that the Auckland Boobs on Bikes parade is now the largest annual public parade held in New Zealand, with upwards of 100,000 people enjoying the spectacle in Queen Street every year and bringing the city to a complete halt.

Following are details of the Wellington event.

Schedule for Wellington Boobs on Bikes Parade, Friday 7 th November 2008

Start Point: Post Office Square, on corner of Jervois Quay and Grey Street Assembly

Time: 12:15 pm, Friday 7 th November 2008 at Post Office Square

Start Time: 12:45 pm sharp

Finish: Approximately 2.00pm at steps of Parliament House, off Molesworth Street.

Route: As shown on map attached; along Grey Street, left into Featherston Street, right onto Lambton Quay, along Lambton Quay, left into Molesworth Street, left into Parliament Gates, end at the steps to Parliament House.

Media Interviews: To be done at Post Office Square prior to start please. Steve Crow will be available there from 12 noon.
