Overnight leader, Cambridge’s John Twomey (riding Highly Recommended) consolidated his lead from the cross country with a clear show jumping round. New Plymouth’s Matthew Grayling, riding NRM Cruzintime finished 2nd.

Comeback rider and former World Champion, Vaughn Jefferis, building on his excellent cross country performance did a clear cross country round and finished in 8th place rising from 19th after the dressage phase.
