Missing Person - 81 yr male

With up to 30 people searching through the day without success, Police Search & Rescue will resume their search at 8am tomorrow for an 81yr male missing from the Ranburn RestHome in Waipu. Colin Emmett is descibed as: male caucasian, 5'10', short white hair, bushy white mutton-chop sideburns, slim-medium build. Wearing blue jeans, possibly dark jumper covering pyjama top, dark jacket, slippers. While not an Alzheimers or Dementia sufferer, fears are still held for Mr Emmett's safety. due to his age, and he may present in a confused state. It is also possible he may have hitch-hiked to Auckland, heading for the Waikumete Cemetery.
