Iconic Lodge welcomes new manager, Stanley Morris

Stanley Morris’s arrival at Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses as Managing Partner adds international experience and flair to Kaikoura’s iconic lodge accommodation.

Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses has gained both local and international acclaim for distinctive design and strong environmental commitment. Most recently the Tree Houses were the cover image for the October issue of the renowned US National Geographic Adventure magazine.

Stanley will lead the management team at Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses, and brings to the role extensive international management and hospitality experience from California, Italy and South East Asia. Stanley believes there is further potential for the iconic lodge, matching the distinctive design with world class service and food, and cementing it as a world-class accommodation experience. 

Stanley Morris originally hails from San Francisco where he owns one of the city’s most iconic restaurants, Teatro Zinzanni, a ten year success story which is a highly popular dining and entertainment experience for both locals and visitors. Stanley also has experience in project managing, overseeing the establishment of a new F&B company in Singapore and across Southern Asia.
