Mayor welcomes 13 citizens to New Zealand

Yesterday, his Worship the Mayor Rick Cooper welcomed 13 new citizens to New Zealand at an official citizenship ceremony.

 

The candidates who were awarded citizenship included:

Mr Geoffrey Marcus HOWELL

Mrs Dawn Mary HOWELL

Mr To'oto'o LOKENI

Mr Ross Walter MCFARLANE

Mr Sarith RUON

Mr Robert Mark WHITTLETON

Mrs Angela WHITTLETON

Master Elliot Lloyd WHITTLETON

Miss Lydia Grace WHITTLETON

Mrs Jane Elizabeth MAISEY

Mrs Chia-Ning YEH

 

 

The ceremony was supported by a Kapa Haka from TaupM-nui--Tia College, before the new citizens were awarded a citizenship certificate. A morning tea was held following the ceremony to mark the occasion.
