Parachute early bird tickets end in one week

There is only a week left to purchase early bird tickets to Parachute 09, the largest Christian Music Festival in the Southern Hemisphere.

 

The discounted full weekend ticket price of $149 is available until the cut-off date, Midnight December 10th. From December 11th the price goes up to $169. Tickets are now available at iticket.co.nz.

 

This years festival, which will be held at Hamilton’s Mystery Creek over Auckland Anniversary weekend (23-26 January 2009), boasts a strong suit of international headliners.

 

Acts include platinum-selling worship act Casting Crowns, Atlanta crunk-rock phenomenon Family Force Five, alt-worship outfit David Crowder Band, Portland rockers Kutless and our very own national treasure Dave Dobbyn.

 

Representing the locals will be Parachute Band, Rapture Ruckus, Mumsdollar, Nathan King, Kingston, All Left Out, Luke Thompson and many more.

 

More than 25,000 punters are expected at this year, the 19th year of the gathering. Festival goers will experience 150 bands across 6 stages during the long weekend.

 

As well as world-class music, Parachute will host a raft of international speakers, including head of Hillsong Australia Brian Houston, C3 San Diego’s Jurgen Matthesius and CEO of World Vision Australia, Tim Costello.
