Craig Pattle has returned to New Zealand, after a rough season in the northern hemisphere hungry for victory at this year’s national championships which take place from January to March 2009.

The 23 year old from Rotorua races elite class Downhill, 4X, Dual slalom, and BMX and is a contender for the National Elite Downhill title and BMX National Elite title.

In 2008 Craig won the Elite Dual Slalom National Champion for mountain biking and was placed 5th in the North Island Cup series DownHill.

Craig has been mountain biking for over 9 years and hit the pro cicuit in his late teens, where as a junior racer gained the 2003 Junior DownHill National Champion and
Junior 4X National Champion. In 2006 he gained a 3rd place in the international Elite Oceania 4X championships and the Elite Oceania DownHill championships.

This season Craig has set his sights set on a podium finish and a New Zealand title.
