Water restriction update

Tuesday Afternoon December 30th - 2:00 PM.

Thames Coromandel District Council wishes to announce the following water restrictions are in place until further notice:

FULL HOSE AND SPRINKLER / IRRIGATION BAN
The use of hoses and sprinklers/irrigation is banned in the following communities:
PAUANUI, TAIRUA, MATARANGI AND MATATOKI

SPRINKLER / IRRIGATION BAN
The use of sprinklers/irrigation is banned in the following communities:

COROMANDEL AND HAHEI

THERE ARE NO WATER RESTRICTIONS CURRENTLY IN PLACE FOR THE FOLLOWING COMMUNITIES:

Thames, Whitianga, Whangamata, Onemana, Puriri.

WATER CONSERVATION TIPS FOR RESIDENTS AND VISITORS

PLEASE DO PLEASE DO NOT
·Take short showers not baths
·Fix any leaks and dripping taps

·Use full loads to wash Clothes/dishes

·Wash cars, boats or trucks
·Fill swimming pools

·Water the garden in the heat of the day

·Clean driveway/patio with hose

WATER RESTRICTIONS ARE REVIEWED DAILY.
