New CEO for Westland Milk Products

Hokitika-based Westland Milk Products has a new chief executive officer.

He is Rod Quin, who has spent most of his career in the dairy industry and has a strong background in sales, marketing and administration.

His last position was with Fonterra, as Global Account Director, Nestle, based in Switzerland. Previous to that he was Fonterra’s sales director for Europe and Russia and has held the post of President & Representative Director, Japan and Korea, again with Fonterra.

Westland Milk Products Chairman Ross Scarlett today described Mr Quin as possessing “ the necessary experience and proven record of performance” to take the company forward.

Mr Quin will take up his appointment in mid-April.
