BSport lands another one out of the water: Geoff Thomas

Fishing Guru Geoff Thomas has joined BSport radio, after 11 years hosting his Saturday morning fishing show on Radio Sport.

``While it was the only remaining inaugural show on the network and worked very well, it was time for a change,’’ Thomas said. ``The new two hour show is twice as long which is great! Fishing is incredibly popular and we are blessed with some of the world’s best fishing. With a mix of reports, news and talkback it will be packed with great content.’’

BSport Operations Manager Scott Walker was excited about Thomas joining the station. ``Geoff is the most experienced fishing media authority in the country, with over 15 years in national radio as well as 30 years in television and even more in print. We see huge potential for developing THE Fishing Show and providing a valuable service to the million or so keen anglers in this country.’’

Thomas will be joined by Andrew Baker from NZ Fishing Safaris who is very experienced in the charter business and together they guarantee to deliver a fresh and informative show.

BSport broadcast on over 32 frequencies nationwide and THE Fishing Show runs from 6-8am on Saturdays.
