Still Time For By-Election Nominations

There is still time to lodge nominations for the North Ward by-election, reminds the council’s returning officer Mike Brown.

Three nominations have been received so far.

The deadline for nominations is midday on February 16 and papers are available from the Council’s Dannevirke service centre or the web site - www.tararuadc.govt.nz

Return them with a $200 deposit, profile statement and a photograph.

The election result will be announced on April 7 after papers have been processed and distributed by postal vote.
