Doctrove to miss play today after illness

Umpire Billy Doctrove will not stand in today's play [Saturday] in the second Test between New Zealand and India at McLean Park, Napier. Doctrove contracted a chest infection yesterday and will stand down from play today on medical advice.

Third umpire Evan Watkin will replace Doctrove as on-field umpire today, alongside Ian Gould. Fourth umpire Chris Gaffaney will stand in as third umpire, while Hawkes Bay umpire Chris Dear comes in as fourth umpire.
