Mayor welcomes citizens to New Zealand

Yesterday, his Worship the Mayor Rick Cooper welcomed 19 new citizens to New Zealand at an official citizenship ceremony.

The candidates who were awarded citizenship included:

· Mr Anthony Ellis

· Mr Christopher Charles Hill

· Ms Maureen Frances Johnstone

· Mrs Pauline Lattey

· Mr John Robert James Mack

The new citizens were awarded a citizenship certificate and a morning tea was held following the ceremony to mark the occasion.
