A male truck driver has died after trying to unload a truckload of calf feed at an address in Tuakau.
When the tailgate of his truck failed to open automatically the driver tried unsuccessfully to manually operate the tailgate.
When this opened he became trapped and was buried under several tonnes of cattle feed.
Police and OSH are currently at the scene investigating the incident.
