Better Dialogue With Ratepayer Open Days

With the round of district wide ratepayer open days to discuss the draft Long Term Council Community Plan now completed, Mayor Maureen Reynolds believes the new foremat has been a success.

“Chatting informally on a one to one basis without the more structured environment of a public meeting has led to more informed dialogue and lengthier discussions.”

She said numbers attending had been well up on previous years.
