Changes to rubbish days

Rubbish pick-up one day later this coming week.

Due to the national celebration of the Queen's birthday on Monday, Thames-Coromandel District Council residents will have their next rubbish pick-up delayed by one day.

Residents on the peninsula's east coast from Whangamata to Mercury Bay south (including Tairua, Pauanui and Cook's beach) will have rubbish collected on Tuesday 2 June instead of the Monday.

On Wednesday, collections will be made from Mercury Bay north (including Whitianga) to Coromandel rural north.

Finally, Coromandel Town and the Thames coast down to Thames will have their rubbish collected on Thursday 4 June.

Collection days will return to normal the following week.
