ND Cricket Academy Announced
Hamilton, New Zealand
On the back of continued support of ABN AMRO Craigs, Northern Districts Cricket has named 17 up-and-coming players to form the ABN AMRO Craigs NDCricket Academy.
The Academy programme sees those selected get a holistic sweep of professional development expertise. Craig Ross, High Performance Manager for NDCricket, says: “Our programme encompasses not only cricket technique, but also a ‘life coaching’ approach, covering fitness and health, education, time management and work, to name a few elements. There is no doubt that we will continue to produce exceptional cricketers."
ABN AMRO Craigs' Geoff Buchan notes that “We have been involved with the NDCricket Academy for two years now and have been very pleased with the results on and off the cricket field. We see it as a fantastic investment in future New Zealand representatives and, having seen the programme NDCricket run, we believe in its ability to continue to produce quality athletes”.
