Juliet Fake has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of TALKINGtech, the interactive voice messaging provider. Founded in 1986, TALKINGtech services a wide range of major mobile, telecommunications, financial services and utility companies across the globe, with offices in Australia, New Zealand, North America, South Africa and the UK.

Juliet relocated from Britain to New Zealand to join TALKINGtech in September 2007, working from the Auckland head office. Over the past 18 months, she has been working closely with Founding Director Ray Stark, gaining an in-depth insight into the company, and using experience in the UK credit collections industry to help develop the business.

Commenting on her appointment, Juliet said: “Working alongside Ray Stark has given me the ideal opportunity to get to know the business at the highest level, giving me hands-on experience as an operational leader to the business and ensuring a smooth transition.

“The new role presents me with an exciting challenge. Looking at how we can develop our strategic direction is a key priority, particularly in the current economic climate, and I will be focusing on how TALKINGtech can build and expand across all markets.

“As a global company, we will be working closely with existing customers, largely in the financial services, telecommunications and utilities sectors, ensuring that we are offering the very best support to meet their needs. We are also focusing on expanding our offering into new markets.

“To enable us to give the very best to our customers, we are also focusing on making TALKINGtech the employer of choice, ensuring that it continues to be a vibrant and enjoyable place to work. TALKINGtech has a very special set of values and business differentiators, and I look forward to making it a continued success,” concludes Juliet.

Juliet was previously director of credit and collections at Virgin Media, where she worked for eight years, having started her career at Barclays bank, gaining extensive operational and leadership experience.
