An experienced tourism industry professional has joined Queenstown’s luxury Millbrook Resort after returning to the resort town from overseas.

Anna Kerslake has been appointed Millbrook’s new sales coordinator after having previously worked for Destination Queenstown and travelled and worked overseas for the past two years.

Miss Kerslake said she was excited to be back in Queenstown and to have secured a key role at the five star resort.

“I know Millbrook well through my previous time at Destination Queenstown so I’m looking forward to the challenge of working in this multi-faceted business,” she said.

As Sales Coordinator, Miss Kerslake reports directly to Kim Carpenter, Millbrook Resort’s Director of Sales and Marketing, and will provide support and assistance in delivering initiatives to drive sales across the hotel, golf, spa and food and beverage areas of the business.

She will open up direct lines of communication, internally and externally, for staff, customers, local businesses and local tour operators, and will be helping with Millbrook’s C&I presence as well, driving the C&I market forward with Sales Manager Karen Whittaker.

“I’m looking forward to the diversity this role provides, and the opportunities to get involved in all areas of Millbrook’s business, from management support through to contact with guests,” she said.

Miss Kerslake has an impressive career history, ranging from production on various films and television series based in London, through to Business Development Manager for Destination Queenstown.

Mr Carpenter said Miss Kerslake’s experience, motivation and passion would make her a positive and valued addition to the Millbrook team.

“Anna’s professional attitude and enthusiasm combined with her wealth of experience convinced us she is the perfect candidate for this role,” he said. “She has a whole range of ideas and a great rapport with everyone she talks to.

“Anna’s knowledge of tourism in Queenstown is another great strength she will bring to this role.”
