Fatal Crash

At approximately 12:20pm Police were advised of a serious crash 10km north of Palmerston on State Highway One.
It was reported as a bus crash with six persons involved. One fatality has been confirmed at this time.
Fire, Ambulance and Police are in attendance including Police Serious Crash Investigators, Photography and Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit.
State Highway One is closed and Transit New Zealand have a diversion in place via Horse Range Road.
