The Hawke's Bay Police Search and Rescue team in conjunction with the Lowe-Walker Rescue helicopter and Land Search and Rescue volunteers will begin a search this morning for 2 missing trampers in the Northern Ruahine Ranges.
The 35yr old male and 28yr old female left for an overnight tramp on Saturday and failed to return on Sunday as planned.
The pair are believed to be experienced trampers but may not have been prepared for an extended stay in the bush.
