Bayleys bolsters national retail sales and leasing team

Bayleys Real Estate has appointed highly experienced property sales consultant Erin Palmer to its retail team – with a national focus on securing chain and large scale commercial tenancies.

Erin Palmer has been in the commercial property sector for 12 years - working in the public sector for what was Works Consultancy (now Opus) and Wellington City Council, where he managed a developments sites, land acquired for public works and a large CBD leasehold portfolio. Before joining Bayleys, Erin Palmer was national director of retail sales in Auckland for rival agency CBRE.

At Bayleys, Mr Palmer has been tasked with managing several retail projects - including the refurbishment of existing buildings to accommodate a new retail centre, the sale of retail sites where the investors face the risk of loosing their retail tenants, and working with owner/occupiers to source new sites.

"There is enormous potential for Bayleys nationally to leverage off existing relationships with retailers to secure new leasing and sales opportunities,” Mr Palmer said.
