That's right! This year will be the biggest ever Casio Coromandel Classic! With a month to go until the 8th edition of the North Island's only 2-day multisport race, the field is at it's highest ever numbers.
With the split about even between individuals and team entries, the social aspect of this 'classic' weekend is obviously a big drawcard with team-mates enjoying a bit of exercise and competition, along with a meal and a few beers on Saturday night, and a BBQ on Sunday afternoon.
All of the usual suspects are back, with Coromandel Peninsula and Thames locals well represented, and teams from Wellington and the South Island also making the trip.
For those yet to enter, it's not too late – but note that the entry fee goes up again at the end of the month – so get in quick.
