Chef De Mission Confirmed For 2012 London Paralympics

Paralympics New Zealand has had no hesitation in confirming its Chef De Mission for the London 2012 Paralympic despite the event being nearly three years away.

Duane Kale from Wellington who was the Chef De Mission at the Beijing Paralympics has been ratified by the PNZ Board to continue the role in London.

Kale was appreciated by the media for his honestly and forthrightness when talking about the New Zealand’s performance at Beijing and was a popular team member.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to take the success and experience from past games to make London a greater success and better experience for New Zealand athletes,” says Chef De Mission Kale, a four-time gold medalist at the Atlanta Paralympic Games.
