The race is on at Hawke’s Bay Regional Council to see who can raise the most money for CanTeen Child Cancer with a ‘Child Cancer - Number None’ hair cut event.

Regional Council staff regularly participate in this fundraiser, with heads being shaved to raise money.

This year the participants are Kahl Olsen (IT staff), Euan Cooper (IT staff), Marty Hall (Biosecurity) and Barb Crawley (Consents Administrator).

The ‘Number None’ head shaving will take place this Wednesday at 12 noon outside the front of Hawke’s Bay Regional Council’s Dalton St building. The public are welcome to come along and watch and help with donations. The Council has already kick started the fundraising with a $1000 contribution.

The Council staff have also organised a raffle (of hair care products) and have Canteen Bandannas for sale at their Dalton St, Napier reception for anyone who would like to contribute to a good cause.
