Local cricket fans have plenty of opportunity to catch professional live cricket action at Queenstown Events Centre this 2009/10 season with a host of events on offer.

Lakes Leisure Events Manager Karen Gemmell said the season schedule ranged from warm-up matches and World Cup under 19s to national four-dayers and the Australia versus New Zealand Women’s One Day International.

“We’re delighted with this summer’s line up. These events help us build our international profile and attract further events.”

The ball gets rolling with a three-day warm-up match between Pakistan and New Zealand A team which starts on Wednesday 18 November. Entry is free and all are welcome to show their support.
