Tuffey confirmed in BLACKCAPS 11

BLACKCAPS bowler Daryl Tuffey has been confirmed in the playing 11 for the second Test against Pakistan, starting today at Allied Nationwide Finance Basin Reserve, Wellington.

The BLACKCAPS team is:

Daniel Vettori (capt.); Tim McIntosh; Martin Guptill; Daniel Flynn; Ross Taylor; Peter Fulton; Grant Elliott; Brendon McCullum; Iain O'Brien; Daryl Tuffey; Chris Martin.

12th man Jeetan Patel will remain with the squad.

Tim Southee, called in as cover following the withdrawal of Shane Bond through injury, will return to his Northern Knights side for their Plunket Shield match against the Auckland Aces in Auckland.

Play in the second Test will commence today at 2.10pm with the BLACKCAPS winning the toss and electing to field.
