Changing The NZ Wine Scene!

Presenter of Wine Vault TV (WVTV), Jayson Bryant, plans to change the way the world see New Zealand wine.

Initially shunned by the old guard wine community for not being in the industry long enough Jayson decided that enough was enough and, with the Kiwi mentality and number 8 wire spirit, started making his own online wine show. Episodes are made every working day and the show remains completely honest and unbiased.

His online show attracts a large dedicated audience that only watch due to their passion of wine and interest in new ways of social media wine reviews. Guests on the show have included Sir Robert Winston, John Campbell, Oliver Driver, and other overseas celebrities who have popped in to share and learn more about New Zealand wine. The show is only available online at winevaulttv.com and now has a loyal Global following.

Social media played a big part in the marketing of WVTV. The audience traffic was initially from social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook but now, through word of mouth, they come from everywhere. The online community has helped him gain access to celebrities and other interesting people. They have helped build the WVTV website and promote for him. “This is truly a community driven website and show” says Jayson Bryant.

Wine Vault TV concentrates solely on New Zealand wine with a bias towards Pinot Noir and Chardonnay but reviews of all major grape varietals are available. The purpose for the show is to let the consumer watch an honest appraisal of wine they can afford or live vicariously through him on wine they can’t afford.

The show format is quite simple with Jayson reviewing wine, he opens the bottle as any consumer would and then describes what he is tasting in language that the population can understand.
