AUCKLAND

For the fourth year in a row, interest from exhibitors for trade sites at Speedshow, the annual motorsport and automotive extravaganza, is very strong.

With Speedshow moving to 24 and 25 July in 2010, away from the September date when the show has run for its first three years, the need to act quickly and secure the site that best suits each exhibitor has never been more urgent.

“At this stage of the year, potential Speedshow exhibitors would normally be thinking ‘well, there are several months until the show, so there’s not much urgency’,” says Speedshow organiser Keith Sharp. “But with just five months to the 2010 event, bookings are progressing very strongly.

“We urge any business seeking to target New Zealand car enthusiasts to get in contact with us this month to discuss potential exhibition sites that best suit their purpose.”

The fourth annual Speedshow again features the very best race cars of all descriptions alongside fantastic performance cars to delight car fans of all ages, and Sharp expects to start announcing specific attractions within the next few weeks.

Speedshow’s broad appeal to motoring fans of any age and genre makes it an ideal venue in which to showcase a wide range of new vehicles, says Sharp.

“We’re delighted to have Suzuki motorbikes, Triumph, Kawasaki, Honda motorbikes and Ducati confirm they will exhibit at Speedshow in July. And on the new car front we can expect to see the latest offerings from Kia, Mazda, Nissan, BMW, Suzuki and Holden Special Vehicles (HSV). This year’s show is shaping up to be another good one with a fantastic variety of automobiles on show for car enthusiasts.”

Speedshow 2010 takes places at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland over the weekend of 24 and 25 July. News and details are updated on the Speedshow website on a regular basis; see www.speedshow.co.nz, or find Speedshow on Facebook.
