Nominations Sought For Trust Power Award

The district’s volunteer organisations have until April 1 to seek nomination or nominate themselves for this year’s Tararua Trust Power Community Awards.

The awards are well established now and provide an opportunity for Tararua’s many volunteers to be acknowledged for their contribution to the community, district marketer Melissa Martin says.

“This award is for everyone – organisations that are large or small.”

As a reminder the five categories are: Heritage and Environment, Health and Wellbeing, Arts and Culture, Sport and Leisure and Educational and Child/Youth Development.

Forms are available from the four service centres or can be downloaded from the council website www.tararuadc.govt.nz
