The Profit will be delivered free to all businesses throughout the region this week. The quarterly magazine is being published by local company Attn! marketing pr.

Managing Director Damon Harvey said the magazine has had strong support by the local business community and has also come under the radar of Prime Minister John Key.

All advertising in the first publication was sold. The publication also features the Colliers International Hawke’s Bay commercial property portfolio.

Mr Key takes part in a one-one-one interview in the March issue in which he says a major attraction for people moving to the region is “the lifestyle aspect of the place”.

He also says in the interview that Hawke’s Bay is in a good position to partner the government in delivering ultra fast broadband.

“Priorities will largely be determined by how prepared regions are.

“With the presence of four major providers in the region I’d expect Hawke’s Bay to be in a good position going forward,” he said in The Profit.

Mr Harvey says the magazine is vital for the local business community and its aim is to tackle business issues that impact the region along with promoting the many successful business stories.

Regular content includes advisory columns by local business advisers who are experts in sales, business performance, finance and technology.

Other stories that feature in the first issue include an update on ultra fast broadband including an interview with the regions first fibre user; a feature on Lily McKimm the face of Big Save Furniture and an update on Venture Hawke’s Bay’s ambitions to attract more tourists to the region.

The magazine also features the Colliers International Hawke's Bay commercial property portfolio.

“We want the magazine to appeal to a wide cross section of the business community from small business to larger enterprises.

“It will also be used as a promotional tool to attract people and businesses to the region via the partnership with Colliers International.
