Today's One-Day International between the BLACKCAPS and Australia is the second game in the series to sell out, and it bodes well for the rest of the series.

This morning all the tickets were sold out for the third One-Day International between the two trans-Tasman rivals, and with the series all square at one all, today's game is going to be a thriller.

With the series in the balance captain Daniel Vettori knows how vital a victory would be, "I think it is probably the most important game of the series. The team that can go 2-1 up obviously only needs to win one more to take out the series so we will try and put everything into this game. We enjoy playing here, it's a great cricket ground so I think the guys are pretty excited about being here."

David Cooper, Northern Districts CEO said it's a really positive thing for the ground and for cricket in general. "The ground is like an amphitheatre when it is full. It's like playing in a cauldron," he said. "The atmosphere will be electric."

Tickets are still available for the fourth and fifth ODIs at Eden Park in Auckland and the Westpac Stadium in Wellington. Only a couple of thousand are left for Thursday's game.

Cricket fans are encouraged to buy their tickets early for the remaining two games, so they don't miss out on the action. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketek http://premier.ticketek.co.nz/shows/show.aspx?sh=BLACKCAP10&searchId=dff99d32-851e-4f04-a592-a914ac68712b
