Hesketh Henry welcomes four new lawyers to its ranks, who bring with them significant national and international experience.

Merran Chisholm joins Hesketh Henry as a Senior Associate in the Litigation Team.

Previously, she worked for a mid-sized commercial firm, establishing its litigation practices. The practice specialised in commercial litigation including finance, priorities of securities, liquidators’ and receivers’ actions and civil claims in the Construction industry.

Stacey Hahn, an experienced commercial litigator, has been appointed as Senior Solicitor in the Litigation Team, after moving from DibbsBarker in Sydney where she was an Associate.

During her time at DibbsBarker, Stacey gained considerable experience in insolvency, banking, equity and administrative law, as well as wills, estates and family provision matters. She appeared before State and Federal courts and tribunals, including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal in NSW.

Mathew Bishop has been appointed as a Senior Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial team.

Mathew has experience advising on a broad range of corporate and commercial and banking and finance transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, joint ventures, project and acquisition finance and capital raisings.

He joins Hesketh Henry after three years in London working for one of the world’s largest offshore law firms. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, and a Solicitor of both the Supreme Court of England and Wales and the Supreme Court of the Eastern Caribbean.

Dinesh Menon joins the Private Client team bringing with him strong international experience in trusts, asset protection and inheritance planning.

He has undertaken complex multi-jurisdictional and multi-party issues that impact European, Asian, North American and Pacific law, mainly in trust and asset law.

Managing partner Erich Bachmann says he is delighted to welcome them to the team and with the experience that Merran, Stacey Mathew and Dinesh can offer Hesketh Henry’s clients.
