TelstraClear InHome TV customers will soon be offered 15 new channels with the completion of a major project on the company’s network. Picture quality across all digital channels will also be improved.

The new channels will include Fox News, Sky Sports Highlights, CCTV, Star Plus Hindi and other foreign language channels. The line up will also include three channels exclusive to TelstraClear - Bloomberg TV, City TV and Triangle TV.

TelstraClear Head of Consumer Steve Jackson says that significant investment in the network has made the delivery of new channels possible.

“We’re just completing a $1.3m transmission upgrade on our network, which allows us to expand our channel capacity and optimise the picture quality. In November our InHome TV customers will have 15 great new channels to view.”

“Business-savvy customers in particular will be interested in Bloomberg TV, a 24 hour business and financial news channel delivering power tools for power players and serious investors. We’re the only provider in New Zealand to offer this channel.”

Also on offer to customers will be additional pay-per-view channels for live events such as boxing and wrestling.

TelstraClear’s InHome TV offers all the programming available on Sky, exclusive channels and double the number of viewing times for pay-per-view movies.
