Songstress Kiri Eriwata returns to Raglan with her touring band The Acid Bird to perform an explosive set of dance/rock/pop tunes. An edgy collaboration which include members from ex Auckland's hard hitting group Payola brings a seasoned and dynamic approach to her live show.
Guitarist Derek Solomon has described Kiri as “unquestionably one of the most exciting new artists to emerge locally in many years. The songwriting is at once diverse, yet intelligent, and a strong emphasis on melody. Her voice is has an honest charm that will easily put her in the league of her international counter-parts.The magic is in the ability to mix genre's and experiment without sounding diluted and unfocussed.
