Hewlett replaces Sieling on Whangamata Community Board.
Councillor Hewlett has been appointed to fill the Whangamata Community Board seat left vacant after Councillor Sieling resigned from the Community Board in February.
Three members of the Thames-Coromandel District Council (TCDC) now sitting on the Whangamata Community Board are councillors Jan Bartley, Dal Minogue and Noel Hewlett.
Councillor Hewlett will give his Community Board declaration at the board's next meeting on Thursday 22 April and after an induction, will serve on the board for the remainder of this triennial term.
