Finalists Announced in Miss Tui 2010 Competition

It’s official: the Miss Tui 2010 finalists have been found. There’s six of them and they’re dotted all around this wonderful country of ours, from Kaitaia to Bluff – well, almost – try from Auckland to Canterbury.

In no particular order, the six delightful finalists are: Melissa Withers (Marlborough); Nikoletta Michael (Manawatu); Karma Campbell (Auckland); Rebecca Glover (Wellington); Missy Roberts (Canterbury); and Rachel Adams (Canterbury).

These six Tuians (who have each already won 22 dozen Tui and a spot in our hearts) are one step closer to winning the Miss Tui crown and the adoration that comes with it...not to mention $1000 cold hard cash and a year’s supply of Tui.

Given part of their success required an outstanding publicity campaign (we do require they have brains as well as beauty too), we are pleased to say that their publicity efforts outshone our wildest expectations, and we had wild expectations in the first place.

Bungy jumps, newspaper articles, radio interviews, Facebook giveaways, YouTube videos and the like blew us away and made us stand up and take notice, as they did for everyone who has voted for the girls so far.
