This weekend the Mico/All About Plumbing team is based out of Christchurch for the third round of the Benchmark series. "We have a smaller Mico/All About Plumbing team this round with riders away overseas or having some end of season rest," said Team Director Steve Elden who will be in the team car this Sunday for the first time as other committements have kept him away until now.“I’m keen to get down south and get in the Benchmark action and provide team support and leadership for the riders with co-director Richard Aitken at my side.”

“The weekend is also good chance to build stronger relationships with our sponsors as we head closer to 2011”. said Team Director Steve Elden. "Mico Christchurch branch manager and business development manager Ben Bloy have us riding in their branch branded wagon for the weekend. Our sponsors understand and support our partnership 100% and by helping us succeed and grow they help themselves grow through marketing of a well run and supported team".

Along riding shotgun in the team car is a another major sponsorship partner Tim Jones of Mule Bar NZ. Mule Bar also understands the benefit of support. “The Mule bar energy bars support for the team is huge the team can chomp through one an hour in the racing and that support saves the us the cash to get the team to the start line” “Tim is eager to see the team in action and so we can’t get him much closer than that to see just how far his return on his investment is working”.

"The leader is Josh Brown and as he rested after the Wellington Tour he now continues to build his form as we get closer to the Taranaki tour. We are happy with his current form and he is capable of delivering a top finish." "Steven Armstrong, while unknown on the national scene, has the strength to surprise a few. His role is to assist Josh but if tactics can be played this guy is a huge talent". Masters riders Shane Aitken, Dave Fleming and Geoff Searle also support our leaders but they hope to have one of them on the masters podium come Sunday. Emma-Louise Ferguson makes her Benchmark debut in the absence of the other woman. Experience and development are her focus from this event. "Development is our teams overall year goal and supporting them at these races is where they learn and develop the team atmosphere the most."
