More than just an apple for the teacher

In an unprecedented  new initiative, BAYLEYS REAL ESTATE in Palmerston North have launched an exciting new School Sponsorship Programme.  Joanna Vink Resdiential Sales Manager for Bayleys Lower North Island Ltd explains

"We're really excited at Bayleys about this new programme we've come up with.  It works along the lines of the Telecom Computers in Schools intiative - where people nominated a school to benefit from your phone account - our programme is similar  and very simple.

ANYONE in the Manawatu listing a property with ANY Bayleys Manawatu sales consultant will be able to nominate ANY school in the  Manawatu - and when that person's house is sold, we at Bayleys will give a $500.00 to the nominated school"

Joanna reports that already clients are eager to nominate schools where a relative works as a teacher, or that they attended as a child.

"You don't have to have a child at the school - or any connection with the school you nominate at all - so schools are keen to enlist the public to nominate THEIR school when listing with Bayleys, because the cash benefits in a year could be huge"
