ETA roundabout construction back on track

Work on the East Taupo Arterial roundabouts has recommenced with construction machinery arriving back on site at the Wairakei Intersection soon to be followed by Anzac Memorial Drive roundabout.

Fulton Hogan Manager Andrew McRae reminds motorists to slow down and take care while construction continues. “The traffic management measures at these locations will continue until the existing roads are realigned to tie into the new roundabouts. We thank motorists for their continued patience.”

The roundabouts should be completed by the end of October 2010. The roundabout work is being carried out at no cost to the Taupo ratepayers.
