Prestige motorcycle group Victory Motorcycles has launched its Kiwi offering with the opening of its new showroom in Newmarket.

Team Motor Group has unveiled its range of full-sized cruiser and touring bikes from the popular American brand, renowned for setting benchmarks for performance, quality, comfort and modern styling.

Established over 10 years ago in the United States, by Polaris Industries, Victory Motorcycles has achieved a cult like status internationally, thanks to the styling input from partners such as the legendary custom bike builder Arlen Ness.

Managing Director of Polaris Industries which manufactures the bikes, Peter Alexander, says the company delivers a fresh look and feel to American designed bikes.

“One of the biggest things we found is that a large number of riders want an American motorcycle that isn’t already on every street corner,” says Alexander.

“They want something that is different and better represents their individuality. With a Victory, you get a stylish bike that utilises modern engine technology – and still allows for customising and personalising.”

Victory models are powered by Victory’s own engine, an American V-Twin OHC fuel-injected 100 cubic inch, 1634cc powerplant (or 106 cubic inch, 1730cc powerplant on the Victory Vision). The engine has set new benchmarks for reliability and low maintenance.

Team Motor Group currently has a large number of Victory bikes available including the Hammer, Vegas, Kingpin, Vision, Cross and Jackpot models.

The Jackpot has proven itself to be one of the most popular to date, as a result of its fat 250mm rear tyre, painted frame, chrome upgrades and 106 C.I freedom V-Twin engine.

“The Jackpot is custom-made right from the Victory Motorcycles factory,” says Alexander. “Its unique styling is changing the status quo in Cruisers and it delivers a great Victory riding experience.
