YMCA Education team and Police favourites in corporate pursuit finals

The YMCA Education team and the Police Five 0’s will be the teams to watch in the Harrex Group Corporate Pursuit finals being held in Invercargill on Sunday.

After the Corporate Pursuit time trials last Friday night only 0.1sec separated the two leading teams.

Both teams broke the competition record, with defending champions YMCA fastest recording 1min 14.4sec.

New to the completion, H & J Outdoor World, was third fastest team last week two seconds behind.

A record 34 teams are contesting the two divisions this year; with the second Fire Service team the leading entries in second division. Just 0.4sec separated the top four second division teams after the grading time trials.

Racing on Sunday will starts at 9.30am with the ILT Heineken team racing against the Waihopai Health Centre, with finals starting after 4pm.
