Triangle STRATOS TV is bringing viewers the brand new, exciting and unique Horse Talk TV.

It is the only TV program in New Zealand dedicated to horses and is made for horse lovers, by horse lovers.

The Six Half-Hour Episode Series One Kicks Off On STRATOS On Saturday 3 July At 5pm.

The weekly, magazine style program will cover all the high profile horse sports from dressage to reining plus other, more unusual horse related activities; like trick riding and liberty horses and for something completely different, a spot of jousting! There will also be “Ask the Expert” segments where industry experts give viewers the latest in horse health and new products and regular educational tips in the “Tip of the Week” segment, as well as the “Make My Horse a Star” viewer video competition.

The show debuts with a special a look at the Sydney CDI 3 Star – Australia’s premier international dressage event and a key selection event for Olympic Games and World Equestrian Games along with a visit to A-Troop – the oldest continuous WW1 light horse re-enactment regiment in Australia.

Produced in Australia and aired there at the end of last year, Horse Talk TV has been warmly welcomed by the horse industry and has been a huge success with viewers.

"We have received lots of positive feedback regarding the show with people calling the station. Viewers have mentioned that they could not watch horse based programs on free to air TV before and so are very excited and pleased to see this show on WTV". - Tibor Meszaros, Secretary of WTV Perth

“Just caught your first episode on TVS. Wonderful, wonderful stuff! So interesting and engaging that my totally non-horsey father stayed in the room AND glued to the TV. Thank you for putting such a fantastic show together”. - Maxilla, Viewer

Horse Talk TV is also being aired in America to 18 million viewers on their cable network HRTV and in Europe on Holland’s Horse Lifestyle Network to 3.5million viewers.

“The premiere of Horse Talk TV further exemplifies HRTV's firm commitment to provide high-quality, entertaining Equestrian programming from across the world. This relatively new, all-encompassing programming from Down Under, has a wide-range of elements that covers the world scene from many interesting angles”. - Jim Bates, HRTV USA Executive Vice President and General Manager.

With Horse Talk TV’s interactive website, there’s a lot more than a weekly half hour show to hang out for. The Horse Talk TV website will run video podcasts of segments from each program following airing – how convenient! Viewers can also enter into competitions such as “Make My Horse A Star” by sending in a short video of their horse or write in to ask a horse care question to have the chance for their question to feature in Horse Talk TV’s “Tip of the Week”. The site also includes a members’ page where members can upload their favorite You Tube videos to share with other horse enthusiasts.

After only it's first season, Horse Talk TV has been chosen as a finalist for 3 Antenna Awards (Australia's Best on the Box of Community TV); Outstanding Outdoor or Recreational Program, Outstanding Information or Lifestyle Program and Outstanding Original Theme Music Composition – Mitch Wright. The Awards are held on the 27th of June 2010.
