35 hopefuls to join the Auckland 15 on Day 3 of the NZPT Queenstown – SKYCITY Alpine Adventure

Day 2 of the New Zealand Poker Tour Queenstown – SKYCITY Alpine Adventure saw the field of players drop from 56 to 35 with those remaining heading back to take their seat on Day 3. Along with the 35 remaining players from Day 2, 15 players from the Auckland leg of this tournament will also sit down on Day 3 which takes place Saturday 24 July at the SKYCITY Queenstown casino giving a full field of 50 players.

Players still battling it out for the title of NZPT Queenstown – SKYCITY Alpine Adventure champion include Australian Tony Hachem, SKYCITY New Zealand Poker Open winner Jackson Zheng and Lee ‘Final Table’ Nelson who is second on the chip leader board after today’s exciting day of poker.

Play will commence for Day 3 at 12:15pm on Saturday with players playing down to the final 15, with the remaining 15 guaranteed a cash prize. The winner of the tournament will take away a cool NZD $73,630.00 and 15th place guaranteed NZD $4,690.00.
