The Langham, Auckland has been rated the number one New Zealand hotel by guests of the Australian luxury tour provider, Scenic Tours.

Feedback from Scenic Tours’ passenger survey reports, showed that travellers visiting New Zealand for the 2009/10 season, consistently rated the five-star Auckland hotel as the best for overall experience and also for the quality of its meals.

“We are delighted to achieve this result and to be named the top hotel by Scenic Tours, as they are such a well respected tour company, who bring a large number of international tourists to New Zealand each year,” says Louise Erceg, Director of Sales and Marketing.

Over 1800 passengers travelled to New Zealand with Scenic Tours over the past 12 months and completed the passenger surveys. They consistently rated the exceptionally good service, delicious buffet meals, luxury accommodation and cited the small touches, such as the nightly chocolates given at turn down, as reasons for The Langham to deservedly have its reputation as a leading New Zealand hotel.

“As a large provider of discerning Australian, UK and North American tourists to New Zealand, The Langham always wishes to put its best foot forward with Scenic Tours and to show visitors from these key tourism markets, the level of premium accommodation that New Zealand can provide. This excellent feedback from Scenic Tours, demonstrates that we are being successful with our aim,” adds Louise Erceg.

Louise Hill, Product Manager for Scenic Tours of Sydney, says New Zealand is a key destination for Scenic Tours and that this market has shown a consistent 10% growth, year on year.

“Australian, British and North American guests of Scenic Tours are looking for all inclusive five-star luxury when travelling and which we are delighted to report they are receiving, thanks to the likes of The Langham, Auckland,” says Louise Hill.
