One of the country's oldest cricket clubs and a founding club of Auckland Cricket, Birkenhead City Cricket Club (BCCC), returns to the Premiership for the 2010/2011 season with HRV on board as a new sponsor.

BCCC recently announced that it has retained Principal status with the Auckland Cricket Association, and to secure a new major sponsor is significant boost for the club.
HRV, sponsors of the HRV Cup Twenty20 series, have been involved at club level on the North Shore for three years sponsoring a range of junior teams. HRV North Shore Managing Director Nick Freeman is delighted to extend the sponsorship to support the club as a whole, including the men’s premier side.
“We’re thrilled to get in behind Birkenhead Cricket, a club that has demonstrated such dedication to developing junior and midget cricket. HRV considers family and the home important and is proud to be associated with a club that aligns itself so closely with these same values,” says Freeman.
BCCC also has an exciting Twilight Twenty20 Cricket competition that complements HRV’s national competition, designed for corporates, local businesses, and those looking to have fun on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Elliott Molesworth, Chairman BCCC, hopes that the HRV connection will just be the beginning as BCCC continues their strong growth.
